Nine members of the Bangs Lady Dragons softball team, which advanced to the Class 2A Division I Region I semifinals, earned all-district accolades from the coaches of 7-2A.

Superlative honors went to Cheyenne Rush, who was tabbed Co-Offensive MVP, and well as Abby Wolf, who was named Pitcher of the Year.

Landing on the first team for the Lady Dragons were infielders Mattisyn Taylor, Stormy Stringer and Aubree Buford, outfielders Neeley Bradley and Adalynne Stephens, and catcher Julianna Ethridge.

Making the second team was outfielder Justice Baker.

The Lady Dragons posted a 25-9 overall record, shared the District 7-2A championship and reached the third round of the playoffs.
