The Brownwood Lions baseball team and the Lady Lions softball team each continued their winning streaks on Friday night as they each faced Abilene Wylie.

The Lions beat Wylie 11-6 in extra innings with another come from behind victory in District 2-3A play.  This improves the Lions to an overall 15-7-1 record and 5-1 in district.  The Lions will play Breckenridge on Tuesday.

The Lady Lions softball team defeated Wylie Friday with a score of 4-1 improving their flawless district record of 7-0.  The Lady Lions will face Breckenridge on Tuesday at home.
