Lady Lions soccer earns 16 all-district accolades, 7 superlative honors

Brownwood finished the season with an 18-5-1 record, most wins and fewest losses in a single season, and went 7-1 in league play to share the 5-4A title with Stephenville

Sixteen members of the District 5-4A girls soccer co-champion Brownwood Lady Lions received all-district recognition from the coaches of the league, headlined by seven superlative honors.

Braycee Lee was selected 5-4A’s Offensive MVP, Alma Bernal was named Midfield MVP, Noemi Ceniceros received Goalkeeper MVP, Isabella Garza was chosen Offensive Newcomer of the Year, Rebekkah Delgado landed Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors, Nylah Hall won the Golden Boot for most goals scored in district, and Alexis Mosqueda-Walker is the 2025 Coach of the Year.

First-team all district selections included Sidney Adkins, Icess Hall, Nixon Johnson, and Madison Weckwerth.

Making the second team were Adrianna Allen, Jacklyn Lewis, and Kynlie Lewis.

Receiving honorable mention were Alena Bernal and Rylie Schaffer.

Academic All-District members included Sidney Adkins, Adrianna Allen, Gale Balfour, Alena Bernal, Alma Bernal, Noemi Ceniceros, Rebekkah Delgado, Isabella Garza, Icess Hall, Inylah Hall, Nixon Johnson, Kylea Karnes, Braycee Lee, Jacklyn Lewis, Kynlie Lewis, Autumn Reeves, Rylie Schaffer, Cate Smith, and Madison Weckwerth.

The Lady Lions finished the season with an 18-5-1 record, most wins and fewest losses in a single season, and went 7-1 in league play to share the 5-4A title with Stephenville.
