The Brownwood Bass Club’s 52nd Annual Open Tournament will take place Sunday, April 13 at Lake Brownwood. Hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the weigh-in line begins at 2 p.m. at the spillway. Contestants must check in between noon and 7 p.m. Saturday, April 12 or between 5 and 6 a.m. Sunday, April 13, also at the spillway.
Divisions include open, with a $50 registration fee; women, with a $25 sign-up fee; and juniors, with a $20 fee to partake.
First place in in the Open division is guaranteed $2,000 and cash will be paid to the top 50 places, including $300 for 52nd place. There will also be $500 awarded for 5.2 pound stringers in any division. Lucky 13th place will receive $250.
Both the women’s and junior divisions will feature 100% payout plus $250 added cash.
Also there will be Skeeter Demo Rides available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and an electronic and trolling motor seminar at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at the sign-up location.
