The 3rd Annual Camp Bowie Veterans Appreciation Day is Saturday, April 5 at the renovated Camp Bowie Armory in Brownwood.

A community day will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. followed by an appreciation/reunion dinner at 6 p.m. for veterans, service members and their families.

Dinner tickets can be purchased at www.campbowieveterans.org. Advance purchase tickets are $5 per person with children under 10 eating free. All tickets will be $10 at the door. T-shirts, hats and decals are also available online and can be picked up at the dinner event.

A Car and Motorcycle Show, Games, Food Trucks, Static Displays, Craft Vendors and a Bounce House for the Kids will all be part of the community day portion of the event.
