What happens when you tell a bunch of talented artists “Anything goes!” (well, almost anything) Come see for yourself at the Brownwood Art Center, 215 Fisk. The “Color in Art” exhibit opens with a First Thursday reception, March 6 from 5-7 pm. This event is free and open to the public.
“Now that the Stars of Texas exhibit at the Depot is over, we want to remind everyone that we have great art exhibits here at the Art Center year-round,” says Exhibit Coordinator Donna Lewis. “This new exhibit has a great variety of styles and media, so I’m pretty confident we have something in it that will please nearly everyone.”
The Color in Art show includes paintings, drawings, collage, fabric art, ceramics, photography, and more. The exhibit will be on display through April 16. The gallery is open to the public Mon.-Fri. from 2-6 pm. The gallery will also be open during the Spring Art Stomp event, Sat. March 29, from 2-6 pm.
