LAMPASAS – The Brownwood Lions soccer team started the second half of District 5-4A competition with a penalty kick shootout loss at Lampasas Friday.

The Lions (4-9-1, 1-4) received one goal in regulation from Raven Prado, but in the extra session Brownwood scored just twice on goals by Brody Boyd and Isaac Morales.

Brownwood is back in action at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 when its hosts Little River Academy.
