The Greenleaf Cemetery Association has elected Debbie Deal, Julie Gomez, Caiden Tyler and Matt McCrane to the Board. Marion Thomas and John Lee Blagg are stepping down after many years of service. 

Matt McCrane will serve as President on the Board going forward. 

“I was challenged by Steve Harris about a year ago to serve on the Board of Greenleaf Cemetery,” McCrane said. “I am excited to carry on his passion for historic preservation and a continuing partnership with the City of Brownwood. It’s important that we remember those that are buried here. Founded in 1868, it is a final resting place for early pioneers in this area. We want to tell their story and encourage historic preservation for all ages. Connect the history. That’s my motto going forward and I think Harris would be proud.”

Steve Puckett will continue his position as Secretary,and Jason Roman will continue on the board as well.
