Well, I’m going to go back on my word a little bit and admit that today I’m cheating just a tad. I told myself, and no one in particular, that I’m doing too much football and I need to get off of it. So, sure enough the last couple of weeks I’ve intentionally been away from football. I’m going to go back on football just a little bit.

I am absolutely amazed by the Washington Commanders! I mean, are you like me? I’m eaten up with them right now. The other night when they won their ballgame, I got to looking and I found out that the Washington Commanders are legit. This is a team that for twenty or twenty-five years has been a laughing stock. They’ve got the “feel good” on them if nothing else. They are now coached by Dan Quinn and he beat the Detroit Lions. They won 41-31 and it wasn’t really that close.

So, the Detroit Lions, the Number One ranked team starting the playoffs, were looking like a led pipe cinch to move on in the playoffs.

But that’s not to be anymore. Who would that be against? I don’t know yet and I don’t care.

I love the way the Commanders are wound. They are wound tight and they are one game away from playing for the Super Bowl. This team didn’t look that good at the start of the season but they were absolutely amazing. I am the farthest thing away from a Washington Commander fan there is, but I’m telling you what, I’m pulling for these guys now.

They take chances. They don’t know how to punt. I mean it’s chance after chance after chance. They’ll have a fourth and three and they’ll go for it. They’ll have a fourth and six and they may go for it. I’ve never seen a team like this. They’re just…I don’t know what they are. I’m trying to call them something! You know, they are just a legitimate team. They take chances and some of them work and some of them don’t. They, well they take chances and that’s about it.

They are not to be denied as I can tell! They are a good looking football team. They have a rookie quarter back named Jayden Daniels and they just put points on the board. I don’t know how. I can’t even give you what they normally run, what their passing percentage is, I don’t know any of that stuff. But, I know the Commanders are capable and I was stunned the other night when I watched them come up with that win.

I mean they are really, really good and I hope they make it to the Super Bowl and maybe more fans will become “obsessed” with them is what I’m tempted to say. I think that they are legit. I think that they can beat anybody on any given night and they also can lose to anybody on any given night.

The Washington Commanders are plenty good and they can come up with everything you can imagine. They are fun to watch! Enjoy them!

Until next time, so long everybody.
