ByeByeBirdieCast2015

Victory Life Academy will present “Bye, Bye, Birdie” in two performances at Brownwood’s Lyric Theatre this weekend.  “Bye, Bye, Birdie” is a performance of the book written by Michael Stewart, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Lee Adams. The show is produced by special arrangement with Tams-Whitmark Music Library of New York, NY.

Rock idol Conrad Birdie is going into the army…but not before he wreaks havoc on the small 1960s town of Sweet Apple, Ohio! When Conrad makes a farewell appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, lucky fan Kim McAfee will be the recipient of a coveted goodbye kiss…unless her steady, Hugo, has something to say about it!  Join us for a rocking good time with one of America’s most beloved musicals.

A special opening event will be held on Friday, April 24th at 6:00 p.m. with tickets priced at $25 for adults and $10 for kids 10 & under.

A Sunday matinee performance will be offered on April 26th at 2:30 p.m. with tickets priced at $15 for adults and $5 for kids 10 & under.
