Brown County Farm Bureau announces 2025 Ted Simpson Memorial Scholarship details

Brown County Farm Bureau posted the following information on social media:

Brown County Farm Bureau is proud to announce the District 7 Top Scholarship for 2025, named in memory of the late Ted Simpson—a dedicated advocate for agriculture and a longtime Brown County Farm Bureau board member.

At our recent annual county Christmas party, we had the privilege of honoring Ted’s legacy. His wife, Paula, and son, Brad, were presented with a plaque recognizing his lifelong contributions to agriculture and our community.

This scholarship celebrates Ted’s enduring impact by supporting outstanding high school seniors in District 7 who share his passion for agriculture and commitment to rural communities.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible high school seniors pursuing studies in agriculture or related fields.

Scholarship Details:

One student will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship

Receive financial support for higher education

Be part of Ted Simpson’s enduring legacy in Texas agriculture

Important Dates:

Application Deadline: 11:59 PM, March 3, 2025

Scholarship Awards Announced: By early June 2025
