May boys top Comanche, girls fall to Hawley

COMANCHE – The May Tigers improved to 2-1 on the season with a 64-43 victory at Comanche Monday.

The Tigers trailed 14-10 after one quarter, led 23-18 at halftime and carried a 46-34 advantage into the fourth period.

Kobey Morris paced May with 29 points trailed by 19 from Brody Stice, six from Mikey Scheriger, and two points apiece from Lane Goodson, Kaden Watkins, JD White and Jackson Lusk.

The Tigers are back in action Tuesday, Dec. 3 at home against Zephyr.

Hawley 43, May Lady Tigers 36

MAY – The May Lady Tigers slipped to 2-5 on the season with a 43-36 home loss to Hawley Monday.

The Lady Tigers trailed 12-11 after one period, 24-15 at intermission and 34-25 through three quarters.

May received nine points from Kenlyn King, seven each from Jordyn Gerhardt, Chloe Lord and McKenna Landes, and six points from Mia Musick.

The next game for the Lady Tigers is at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Early.
