Samantha Tompkins, Assistant Manager of the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Brownwood, was recently awarded Team Member of the Year for all Fuzzy’s locations.

“I really enjoy my job and I’ve been provided amazing support from (owners) Matt and Megan (McCrane), our GM, and staff,” Tompkins said. “They make it easy to come in and do my job. To be nominated and recognized by the Fuzzy’s Taco Shop corporate team for the work that I’ve done is such a gift. I’ll always have a love for the Fuzz.”

Tompkins has been working at the Fuzzy’s location in Brownwood since the doors first opened.

“Sam has been with us since grand opening in 2022 and we are extremely grateful to have her as team member,” said owner Matt McCrane. “We employee mostly students and Sam has coached and trained each one from the beginning. Megan and I were thrilled to see her recognized at a corporate level.”
