Wanda Nell Owens of Coleman, Texas passed from this life to the arms of her Jesus at the age of 85 years on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 5:22 pm at Hendericks Medical Center Brownwood.
Services will be Monday, November 25, 2024, at Johnson City Masonic Cemetery with Bro. Jami McCravey officiating.  Interment will follow at Johnson City Masonic Cemetery with services under the direction and care of Henderson Funeral Home staff.  A visitation in Coleman has been set for Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 3:00 till 4:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home in Coleman.
She was born October 7, 1939, in Ballinger, Texas to her loving parents Nathan and Ruby Ailey Wood.  Wanda was raised in Ballinger, Texas where she attended the Ballinger Schools.  In 1971 she married Robet Eugene Owens in Mexico, and they celebrated 22 years of marriage.  Robert preceded her in death in 1993.  She was a member of the non-denominational church and a waitress for 32 years at the Inn of the Hills in Kerrville, Texas.  Her favorite time was spent being grandma and memaw to her extraordinary grandchildren. Wanda loved to knit and quilt along with shopping with her friends.
Survivors Daughter, Kim Liles of Moss Bluff, LA; 4 Sons, Gailane Owens of Coleman, TX; Mark Owens of Cotttonwood Shores, TX; Mike Owens of Coleman, TX; Brian Owens of Ragley, LA, 11 grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren  Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother
Pallbearers:  Roy Owens, Mark Ownes, Mike Owens, Gailane Owens, Gaylane Toole, Nathan Way, Josh Way, Gary Jones  Honorary Pallbearers: Patrick Owens, Marty Owens, Ryan Lyles, Sammy Jones
