The Richland Springs youth flag football team accomplished greatness this past Saturday by winning the Texas Six Man Youth Football Association 2024 Super Bowl in Zephyr. The Association is comprised of 16 six-man youth programs around the Central Texas area.
Over the past 11 weeks, the Coyotes battled their way through the South Division teams and took on the top two teams of the North Division to finish their season with an undefeated record of 10-0. In addition to their win, Easton Deeds was named Offensive MVP.
The Coyotes faced off against the previously undefeated Throckmorton team during the Super Bowl. It was a close scoring game with the final score being 18 to 13. The Coyotes dominated on both sides of the ball, especially on defense. They were able to hold Throckmorton on the 2-yard line on fourth down with seven seconds left in the game to win it all and become champions.
We are so proud of the players and coaches on a successful season and would like to thank the Coyote Cheerleaders for cheering the Coyotes to victory. “Coyotes fight, never die!”
