Brookesmith ISD issued the following press release Thursday:

Brookesmith Junior Harley Dee Gilliam finished 17th overall in a group of 165 competitors at the UIL Region 4,1A, Cross Country meet, on October 22 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Harley will compete next in the 2024 Cross Country State Championship at Old Settlers Park, 3300 East Palm Valley Boulevard in Round Rock, Texas. The meet will take place

at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 2. Harley is pictured with her team and Coach Heather Isbell.
