During Tuesday’s meeting of the Brownwood Municipal Development District Board of Directors meeting, new officers were voted upon.

Lynn Day is the new president, taking over for Daniel Hutson, while Jon Oplotnik will serve as vice president and Weston Jacobs will serve as secretary.

It was also announced during the meeting that Ashley Jaynes would be resigning her position on the board as she has accepted a job with the City of Brownwood as the Communications Manager. An appointment will be made in the future to fill her seat on the board.
