Motorists traveling through the intersection of US 377 and Crockett Drive in Brownwood can expect to see a new traffic signal in the coming months.

Construction on this new signal will begin on Monday, Feb. 2. Upon completion of the construction in early May, this intersection will be a 4-way intersection.

No detour is expected but temporary lane closures may be necessary. Motorists should use caution around work zones, obey all traffic signs, and watch for road crews during this project.
