Early volleyball drops district outing at Peaster

Aliyah Harlan ( 8 ) logged eight digs for the Lady Horns (13-17, 2-7), who are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they welcome Comanche.

PEASTER – The Early Lady Horns came out on the short end of a District 8-3A volleyball decision against Peaster, 25-15, 25-12, 25-8 Friday afternoon.

Early received four kills each from Jensyn Rasor and Tyley Simmons, three from Ellie Shea, two from Aubrie DeVillier, and one from Cassidy Frerichs.

Grey Pruett dished out seven assists along with three from Frerichs and one by DeVillier, who also served Early’s lone ace.

Defensively, DeVillier logged 16 digs trailed by nine from Pruett, eight from Aliyah Harlan, six from Gabby Benson, five from Frerichs, four from Karley Smith, two from Shea, and one each from Simmons and Rasor.

Early did not record a block.

The Lady Horns (13-17, 2-7) are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they welcome Comanche.
