Jack Allen Dudley, 78, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024. A graveside service will be held in the Greenleaf Cemetery, 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2024 with Bill Slaymaker officiating.

Jack was born October 24, 1945 to Albert Lee “Jack” and Cordie (Henshaw) Dudley in Brownwood, Texas. Jack attended school in Brownwood and served in the US Army. Jack married the love of his life, Betty Ruth Green on May 14, 1966 in Brownwood, Texas. He worked on Drilling Rigs in Texas and Offshore most of his life and worked for himself selling mounted cow horns for numerous years as well. Jack Allen loved his family above everything, and he spent a lot of spare time fishing, all kinds of fishing with his favorite being Salt Water fishing. He was an avid reader of western books, loved all types of cowboy novels and would not put them down. His grandchildren and family owned his heart, it was always all about his family.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Dudley of Brownwood, Texas; daughter, Lisa Lambert and husband Jeff Lambert; son, Allen Dudley of Brownwood; granddaughter, Lyndsey Dudley; grandsons, Christopher Lambert and wife Alexandra of Amarillo, Blake Dudley and wife Macie; 4 great grandchildren with one on the way, Archie, Haddie, Dawson & Hayze; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved like his own.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Cordie Dudley; 6 brothers and 1 sister.
