Graveside funeral services for Marie Coffey, 78, of Bertram, formerly of Brownwood, will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 9, in Rocky Creek Cemetery with The Reverend Cal Gray officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations.  Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 noon Friday at the funeral home, prior to the graveside service.

Ms. Coffey died on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her home in Bertram.

Bessie Marie Wood was born on July 24, 1936, in Brownwood Texas to Frank G. Wood and Allie (Early) Wood. She was raised and attended school in Brownwood and had attended Belle Plain Baptist Church. Marie was a Homemaker and had lived in Brownwood for most of her life before moving to Bertram.

She leaves behind two sons, Ray Coffey of Bertram and Jeff Coffey of Williamson Georgia; and a daughter, Susan Coffey of Bertram. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and other family members as well as a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Allie Wood; three brothers; two sisters, and a daughter, Linda Ann.
