The San Saba County Sheriff’s Office shared the following information on social media Tuesday morning:

The San Saba County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), has announced an arrest following a recent traffic stop.

On August 9th, Texas DPS initiated a traffic stop, during which our K9 unit discovered 39.1 grams of methamphetamines. K9 Andor’s exceptional skills were crucial in locating the narcotics.

Sheriff David L. Jenkins stated, “This operation highlights the effectiveness of our collaboration with Texas DPS and the vital role of our K9 unit. We remain committed to combating illegal drug activity and ensuring community safety.”
