Good Samaritan Ministries has scheduled its annual Abundant Living-Simple Giving breakfast Wednesday, July 24 from 7 to 9 a.m.

Abundant Living-Simple Giving is a call for 100 Good Samaritans to give $100 each to purchase food items for the Christmas boxes that will be distributed in December.

There is no volunteering, no telemarketing, no event planning, no silent auction donations, this is simply a great way to give back.

The breakfast is open to all who feel the call to give simply to this project.

Every client who comes to Good Samaritan in December gets a Christmas box filled with the items necessary to make a “traditional” Christmas dinner. The majority of the items for Christmas boxes will come in through the #Tackle Hunger Food Drive in the fall.

GSM uses the funds raised through Abundant-Living Simple Giving to purchase baking hens, flour, sugar and eggs for the boxes.

Those who want to accept the challenge but cannot attend the breakfast are encouraged to mail their gift to PO Box 1136 Brownwood, TX 76804. Mark your check Abundant Living-Simple Giving. Donations can also be made through the website at goodsambwd.org.
