Alice Jane (Chamberlain) Miller, 75, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 5, 2024 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Jane was born July 2, 1948 in Eldorado, Texas to Nuel and Hazel Chamberlain. Jane graduated high school in Brookesmith, Texas marrying Jim Miller on July 20, 1966 in Bangs. Jane and Jim made a wonderful life together blessing them with 2 daughters. Jane always loved children and worked in child care for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, creating her own recipes, was a master as word search puzzle books, but her favorite activity was taking care of the grandkids and great grandkids. Jane loved watching the Price is Right, old re-runs of Johnny Carson, Gunsmoke and sitting outside on the porch. Jane never met a stranger, no matter where she was. If you stood still long enough, she was going to strike up a conversation and get to know you making new friends all the time.

Jane is survived by her husband, Jim Miller of Brownwood, Texas; daughters, Ann Walker and husband Steve of Cape Coral, Florida, Holly McMillian and husband Dewight of Bangs, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie Hamman and husband Dennis of Cape Coral, Fl, Jessica Brown and husband Chris of Brownwood, Taylor Walker and wife, Jessica of Cape Coral, Fl, Zachary Clark and wife Meridith of Lake Brownwood; great grandchildren, Gracely Brown and Affinity Clark of Brownwood, Beau Hamman and Townes Walker of Cape Coral, Fl., Soren Clark of Lake Brownwood and Mason Hamman of Cape Coral, Fl.; and many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Nuel and Hazel Chamberlain; and a sister, Edith Miller.
