A Veterans Day parade and ceremony will be held in downtown Brownwood, Saturday, November 8th.

The parade will start at 10:00 a.m.  The parade route will begin at the Brownwood Coliseum onto Baker and will travel up Fisk to South Broadway (in front of the Courthouse), then turn down Center, and will travel back up Fisk to Baker Street and end at the coliseum.

Entries for the parade are still being taken.  Some of the highlights of the parade include the Brownwood High School Choir and a community band made up of Brownwood, Early, Bangs and May high schools which will be performing during the parade.

The ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Wendlee Broadcasting.
