Entries for the Spirit of Christmas Lighted Parade Now Being Accepted

ChristmasLogo2014Entry forms for the annual Brownwood Spirit of Christmas Lighted Parade are now being accepted.

This year’s parade is sponsored by Texas Rock Crusher Railway and will center around a railroad theme.  The parade will be held on Thursday, December 4th and will begin at 6:30 PM in Downtown Brownwood and will be broadcast by KTXS-TV.

Registrations for the parade can be made online at BrownwoodChristmas.com by clicking on the parade link.  The parade is open to floats, vehicles, walkers, horses, classic cars, marching bands and more.  Cost to enter the parade is $10 per entry if registered by November 17th.  The parade is limited to 100 entries each year.

The Spirit of Christmas Lighted Parade will kick off a weekend of holiday events including the 6th annual Christmas Under the Stars Festival on Friday December, 5th and Saturday, December 6th sponsored by KTXS-TV.  The festival will include Mr. and Mrs. Claus, ice skating, rock climbing wall, and several holiday themed contests.
