Lauren Denise (Perzesker) Apidone, 68, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Lauren was born November 23, 1955 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio to Lawrence and Eleanor (Czechowski) Perzesker. She graduated from, Chamberlain High School and married Thomas Apidone in August of 1974. They began a life together spanning 50 years and blessing them with 2 wonderful children. Lauren was a lover of ballet. She danced for 23 years and loved every second of it, a joy she shared with her daughter for 21 years. Lauren was a serious homemaker who enjoyed making a home for her family, cooking & baking, and making her home a safe and loving place. Lauren had a special place in her heart for her dogs. They brought her joy when she needed a little more. Reading in her downtime helped her relax. She enjoyed medieval literature as well as every other genre. To say she was an avid reader is an understatement. Lauren believed in showing love and kindness to everyone and in doing so, the world would be a better place.

Lauren is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Apidone of Brownwood, TX; son, Harley Apidone and wife Dawn of Brownwood, Texas; daughter, Regina Dunlap and husband Joseph of Brownwood, Texas; grandkids, Abbie and husband, Kade Hunt, Aiden, Aaron, Mikal, Michael and Sarah of Brownwood, Texas; sister, Linda Diane Malone; nieces, nephews and friends.

Lauren was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Eleanor Perzesker.
