Coleman PRCA Rodeo Standings After Friday Night

The 87th Coleman PRCA rodeo is underway at the Coleman County State Bank Arena, Highway 206, in south Coleman. Here are the leaders after Friday night, courtesy of Colemantoday.com:

Bareback riding leaders: 1. Kade Berry, 87 points on Smith Pro Rodeos’ Cactus Black; 3. Jess Pope, 82.5; 5. Leighton Berry, 77; no other qualified rides.

Steer wrestling leaders: 1. Jay Williamson, 4.1 seconds; 2. Ty Cochrane, 4.6; 3. Paul Melvin, 4.7; 4. (tie) Darcy Kersh and Don Payne, 4.8 each; 6. (tie) Ty Bauerle and Trace Harris, 4.9 each.

Team roping leaders: 1. Billy Bob Brown/Josh Patton, 4.6 seconds; 2. Tyler Wade/Wesley Thorp, 4.7; 3. Cyle Denison/Tanner Braden, 4.8; 6. Cory Kidd V/Dustin Davis, 5.7.

Saddle bronc riding leaders: 1. (tie) Jake Finlay, on Smith Pro Rodeos’ Flashcard Champ, and Darcy Radel, on Smith Pro Rodeos’ Satin Sheets, 86 points each; 3. Cooper Lane, 85; 4. Sage Newman, 84; 5. Sam Martin, 82.5; 6. (tie) Chase Brooks, Danny Cassidy and Sterling Crawley, 78 each.

RODEO PARADE Saturday June 8, 2024 10am – Downtown Coleman

Parade check-in time begins at 9:15 on the corner of East 10th.  The parade will start on East 9th Street at 10:00 am.  No traffic will be able to drive onto 8th, 9th and 10th street to Colorado beginning at 8:00 am. 

AARON WATSON will perform in Coleman, TX on Saturday, June 8th after the Coleman PRCA Rodeo. Case Hardin opens for him at 9:45. Tickets are $25. One ticket gets you in for both concerts! Go to https://colemanrodeo.com/ for more information and to purchase your tickets!
