Brownwood ISD (BISD) coaches, staff and BISD Board of Trustees members Michael Cloy and Eric Evans, recently coordinated with AccelHealth and local providers to help organize the 2024 FREE Sports Physicals for Students event. AccelHealth providers and nurses along with local providers (pictured below) including Nick Haygood, PAC, Dr. Rance and Dr. Carol Boren, and Dr. Masterson teamed up to provide close to 400 Free Sports Physicals.

Jill Evans, AccelHealth Marketing Director stated, “This medical team worked all afternoon outside their jobs to make sure students have their sports physicals. The parents are grateful for the outstanding service of these physicians volunteering their time and service to see their kids free of charge. The students loved the beach balls and bags of snacks. Thank you to the coaches and staff for organizing and running this event. I personally had a blast meeting and encouraging these polite, funny, brilliant, talented students. I’m very proud of BISD!
