Michael Ernest Fagan, 73, of Lake Brownwood, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held a later date.

Michael was born October 29, 1949 in Waltham, Massachusetts to Raymond and Patricia Fagan. He graduated from Waltham High School and joined the National Guard, serving for several years. Michael was proud to be the father of Brandon Fagan born in 1981 and married his beloved Kathy Dunlap in the summer of 1990. He retired from Digital & Texas Youth commission and attended the High Mesa Cowboy Church until health issues prevented him from attending. A devoted husband, father and grandfather. His favorite thing in the world was being Pepaw. He attended all the grandkids sporting events, took grandkids to Home Depot to kid’s workshops, etc. Michael loved to tinker and get greasy in the shop tinkering on motors, a love that he enjoyed with his son and a passion that became his legacy.

Michael is survived by his wife, Kathy Fagan of Brownwood, Texas; son Brandon Fagan and wife Joanie of Brownwood; sister, Trisha Powell and husband Paul of Framingham, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Aaron Fagan, Andrew Fagan, Ashlyn Fagan all of Brownwood; and many beloved coworkers, church family and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Patricia Fagan and a step-mother, Paulette Fagan; and brothers, Tommy & Tim Fagan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Heart of Texas Camp & Retreat https://www.heartoftexascamp.com/donate or St. Jude https://www.stjude.org/give.html

Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
