Thursday, September 25

*12:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of S. US Hwy 377 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a female complainant stated that the rear window of her pickup had been broken out.

* 4:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3000 block of Austin Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, unknown suspects had broken into the complainant’s home and attempted to take items of value.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., a known suspect shot at her with an air soft gun while she was walking her dog.

Friday, September 26

*5:56 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft.  According to the report, two women who were washing clothes at the complainant’s residence allegedly stole her purse which contained her blood pressure and heart medications along with her wallet.  The complainant wished to pursue charges, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary of a habitation on County Road 599.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a habitation on County Road 135.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a safe containing personal documents and jewelry had been taken from the residence.

Saturday, September 27

*10:48 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible scam on Craig’s List. According to the report, the complainant stated that he had attempted to purchase a piano and had sent a $5000 cashier’s check, intended to hold the piano in storage until he could arrange for transport.  The check was cashed for an unintended purpose and he found the piano to be falsely advertised, the report states.

Sunday, September 28

*4:40 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 105 regarding a possible burglary.  According to the report, the complainant stated that during the overnight hours, an unknown subject had broken two windows of his home in an attempt to make entry into the residence.  No items were taken; however, the damage was estimated at $200.

Monday, September 29

*12:29 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Belle Plain regarding criminal mischief.

*6:39 PM – Brownwood police were called to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding an assault.  According to the report, a female had come to the ER after being assaulted by an unknown black female after an apparent road rage incident in Brownwood.

*10:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room, 2601 Crockett Drive, regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, 41-year-old James Jason Snedegar of Brownwood was being disorderly and ER staff requested officers to assist in the situation.  This call led to Snedegar attempting to disarm an officer which evolved into a use of force, the report states.  Snedegar was arrested for public intoxication and attempting to disarm a peace officer.
