SALSA, the Strategic Alliance for Leadership and Social Action, released its events schedule today for this weekend. SALSA will again have its block-long set up at the Cinco de Mayo Downtown Celebration, Saturday, May 4, featuring 16 scholarships awarded to students from Brownwood, Bangs and Early, music, food, Loteria, Best Salsa contest, street dancing, and ticket sales for its ever popular 50-50 raffle where one person can win hundreds of dollars with a $1 ticket.

The Cinco de Mayo Celebration is sponsored by the Arts Council of Brownwood. Everyone is invited.
