The American Southwest Conference today announced its men’s tennis players of the week and Howard Payne’s Chris Sutton was named West Division Player of the Week.

Chris Sutton, Sr., Howard Payne senior Chris Sutton (Brownwood, TX / BHS) did not drop a singles game at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles to fuel a team victory over Massachusetts-Boston. Sutton teamed with Raymond Borjas in doubles. Sutton also helped the Yellow Jackets halt a five-match skid.
