Bangs ISD issued the following information Monday night:

Members of the Bangs High School UIL Academic team competed in various events at the UIL Academic Region 1-2A contest, held at West Texas A&M University in Canyon. We are proud of all their hard work. Jackson Moore placed 3rd in Computer Applications, qualifying for the state meet in May. Kirsten Poling placed as an alternate to state in Poetry.
