The Brownwood Municipal Police Association will host their Awards Gala September 6 at the Brownwood Coliseum to honor employees of the Brownwood Police Department.  Retirees and Former Chiefs of Police will also be in attendance.

The Association has continued to serve the officers and employees of the department and the community since it was first established in 1957.

The BMPA is an association composed of officers in good standing, employed by the City of Brownwood. The BMPA is a non-profit association which strives for better relationships between officers individually, and the citizens of the community they serve.
