The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce will open the doors to the 20th annual Brownwood Business Showcase on Thursday, September 4th at the Brownwood Coliseum, and free passes are still available for a limited time.

Complimentary passes are currently available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce through Wednesday.  Admission at the door will be $2.  All visitors to the show will have the opportunity to win booth prizes from each of the exhibitors. Those who participate in the “Bingo” game may enter to win one of the Grand Door Prizes.

The show will open at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 4th at the Brownwood Coliseum and will feature well-known, established businesses as well as some of the newest in the Brownwood area.

“This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the event with over 75 business vendors scheduled to participate in various lines of trade from banking, insurance and energy to home health services and personal well being,” said Brownwood Chamber Director of Member Services Missi Malone.  “We encourage everyone to visit the show and see what our local businesses have to offer.”

For the 8th year, the “Taste of Brownwood,” presented by Sodexo – BRMC, returns to offer the community an opportunity to sample favorite recipes from local restaurants, caterers and bakeries. From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, showcase visitors can visit restaurant row and sample tasty treats from local restaurants. Each visitor will receive 4 free Taste of Brownwood tickets with the $2 admission fee.  Those who choose to enter with a complimentary pass will need to purchase Taste of Brownwood tickets at the door the day of the show.

Depot Liquor will be on hand to serve samples of wine and beer from 4 PM to 6 PM to close out the showcase during this year’s event.

The Brownwood Business Showcase is presented by KTXS-TV and participating sponsors include Citizens National Bank, Songbird Lodge, Wal-Mart, Thrivent Financial, and Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
