Berylene Beck

Funeral services for Berylene Beck, age 79, of Brownwood, will be at 2:30 PM, Sunday in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery in Mullin.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:00 Saturday evening.

Mrs. Beck died Thursday, August 27, 2009 in an Abilene hospital.

Berylene was born on January 12, 1930 in Blanket to Thomas and MaeDelle (Burkett) Goodwin.  She married Don E. Beck on February 21, 1948 in Brownwood.  He preceded her in death on August 27, 2002, seven years to the day that she passed away.  Berylene worked as a bookkeeper for Ross Company and at the Glamour Shop.  She was a longtime member of the 4th & Stewart Church of Christ.

Berylene is survived by her five sons, Terry Beck and wife Amber of Burleson, Danny Beck and wife Kay of Brownwood, Chris Beck and wife Nancy of Ardmore, OK, Pat Beck of Belton, and Steve Beck and wife Diane of Brownwood, two sisters, LaJuana Ivy of Kingsville and Della Geeslin of Goldthwaite, eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
