Tuesday, August 19

*11:19 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to El Paso Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant stated that items were found to be missing from her home after she returned from vacation.  Several suspects were named, the report states.

Wednesday, August 20

*11:30 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding debit card abuse.  The complainant stated that a former employee had used his debit card without his permission, taking cash from the complainant’s bank account, according to the report.

*8:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the parking lot of Dollar General, in the 300 block of E. Commerce, regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, the driver was reported to be driving “all over the road” and into oncoming traffic.  The suspect driver, identified as Jerry Whatley, eventually pulled into the drive-thru of Classic Liquor in the 400 block of W. Commerce, the report states.  This call led to the arrest of Whatley for driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 29-year-old Carmin Henry Jackson of Sonora on a Sutton County warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Brownwood Police arrested 59-year-old Billy Charles Wilkins of Lawton, Oklahoma on a parole warrant.

Thursday, August 21

*Bangs Police arrested 25-year-old Brynton Key of Lynnwood, Washington for possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

* Bangs Police arrested 20-year-old Neariroth Chan Ly-Bizieff for possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Bangs Police arrested 19-year-old Jordan Taylor of Winters for possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Brownwood Police arrested 56-year-old Jerry Lahn Whatley, Jr. of Round Rock for driving while intoxicated and on a Round Rock warrant related to driving while intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
