GATESVILLE – The Brownwood Lady Lions put an end to their District 5-4A soccer skid Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory over Gatesville – the 50th with in head coach Alexis Walker’s career.
Three different Brownwood (10-5-1, 2-3) player tallied goals as Mariah Young, Madison Weckworth and Molly Oliver each scored. Recording assists for Braycee Lee and Kynlie Lewis.
The Lady Lions wrap up the first half of District 5-4A action at Little River Academy at 5 p.m. Friday, seeking back-to-back league wins for the first time year and to even their overall district mark.
