The Early Police Department shared the following information on Facebook Friday night:

On Friday 2/9 at approximately 645pm the Early Police Department assisted other Brown County Law Enforcement agencies in a pursuit of an armed robbery suspect. Officers were notified of a pursuit with Mills County SO. When the vehicle came into Brown County law enforcement officers joined the pursuit, an attempt to spike the vehicle on zephyr highway failed the vehicle continued into Early out of sight of officers. The vehicle attempted to hide on a vacant lot behind the Early Police Station. A witness reported seeing the vehicle and officers apprehended the suspect without incident. A gun was recovered from the suspect.
