Registration Open for 2014 Brownwood Reunion “Brownwood’s Got Talent” Competition

Registration is now open for the 2014 Brownwood Reunion Celebration “Brownwood’s Got Talent” competition which will be held next month during the community-wide festival.

Auditions for the competition will be held on Saturday, September 6th at the Heartland Mall from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.   There is a $15 early entry fee   ($25 at the door entry fee on audition day).

Twelve finalists will be selected by a panel of judges during the auditions to move on to the live rounds during the Brownwood Reunion Celebration performances on Saturday, September 20th.   Those final performances will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of a live audience and a panel of judges.  Each contestant will perform two acts.   A video of each top 12 performer will be posted online at CelebrateBrownwood.com prior to the final performances.

The top 3 performers from the final competition will win prizes.  The top performer will win 2 backstage passes and 2 VIP passes to the Saturday night Reunion concerts as well as perform at 10 p.m. on Celebration Stage right before Restless Heart.

This year’s Brownwood Reunion Celebration will be held September 19, 20 and 21 in Downtown Brownwood.  The community-wide festival features a variety of contests, events, attractions, music, and food in addition to the main concerts which will feature Survivor and Restless Heart.
