Cavanaugh to Speak at Early Chamber Luncheon July 25th

JimCavanaughThe Early Chamber of Commerce will host their next monthly luncheon from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday, July 25th at Prima Pasta Italian Restaurant.  The public is invited to join in a time of networking and fellowship.  There will also be door prizes awarded to lucky guests.

Jim Cavanaugh, Brown County Justice of the Peace Precinct 4, will be the guest speaker.  Cavanaugh will speak on his book titled “Recollections of a Street Agent” with specific cases he worked from ABSCAM (now a movie called American Hustle) to Lightning Strike (an undercover case at NASA).

Cavanaugh received specialized law enforcement training and certification through the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the University of Virginia.  He is a general police instructor, bomb scene investigator, hostage negotiator, hostage negotiations instructor and has training in extremist matters, police-community relations, sex crimes, abnormal behavior, major case investigations, undercover operations, economic espionage, and mid-level management.

A time for networking is held before the program begins at 12:00 noon.  Attendees may order off the menu and are asked to pay at the register as they leave.

Prima Pasta is located at 210 Early Blvd in Early.
