According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the January 2024 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 18 true bills were returned against 17 persons.

Those indicted were:

  • Spencer Lee Booth: Attempted sexual performance by a child
  • Brandon Willett-Costner: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Christopher David Moreno: Assault family violence-enhanced
  • James Allen: Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver
  • Jose Soliz: Continuous violence against the family
  • Victoria Bernal aka Victoria Ballejo: Prohibited substances and items in a correction facility; Driving while intoxicated with a child passenger
  • Cassie Gay Henson aka Cassie Gay Fairless: Driving while intoxicated
  • Joe Robert Robles: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Justyce Aaliyah Gonzales: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Jesus Benjamin Ybarra: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Michael Johnson: Unauthorized use of a vehicle
  • Othella Louise McClelland: Possession of a controlled substance
  • Enrique Guadalupe Ortega III: Assault family violence-occlusion-prior conviction/repeat offender

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names on new indictments until after the Grand Jury proceedings have been processed through the District Clerk and a file marked copy of the Grand Jury Report has been returned.

The District Attorney’s Office does not release names of Defendants who have been indicted by a Grand Jury but not yet arrested because of an indictment being sealed until the time of arrest. In addition, names of individuals who have had no formal charges filed against them and who are no-billed by a Grand Jury will not be released by the District Attorney’s Office at this time.
