SNYDER – The Brownwood Lady Lions soccer team improved to 4-1 on the season, earning a second straight 1-0 victory, this time on the road over Snyder.

Coming off a 1-0 win over Class 5A Terrell in Saturday’s finale at the Alvarado tournament, the Lady Lions scored the game’s only goal Tuesday off the foot of Madison Weckwerth, with an assist from Braycee Lee.

The Lady Lions are back in action Thursday through Saturday at the Burnet tournament. Brownwood faces Killeen Ellison at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Burnet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, and LaVernia at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
