STRAWN – The Bangs Lady Dragons improved to 9-7 on the season as they chalked up a 52-34 road victory over Strawn Tuesday.

Bangs led 16-9 after one frame, 31-12 at halftime, and 44-25 heading into the fourth quarter.

Kasey Solis and Neeley Bradley scored a team-high 15 points apiece for the Lady Dragons trailed by eight from Jaylee Valdez, seven from Joey Newton, three from point from Cheyenne Rush, and two points each from Raylee Hutchins and Dyan McCurdy.

The Lady Dragons host Brownwood (12-6), which picked up a 62-13 win over San Angelo Lake View Tuesday, at 6 p.m. Thursday in the final game before the Christmas break for both teams.
