The Texas Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Mills County, will hold a public meeting regarding proposed improvements to FM 45 on Tuesday, June 17th from 5-7 PM.  The meeting will be held at the Goldthwaite Municipal Airport Terminal located on SH 16 South, in Goldthwaite.

The proposed project would include realignment and widening of FM 45 to accommodate two 12-foot lanes with 8-foot shoulders.  Proposed improvements begin at Brown County line, end at San Saba County line and the public is invited to attend a meeting regarding the project.

There will be exhibits, environmental documentation, maps and design drawings available for review according to TxDOT officials.

Verbal and written comments about this project may be presented at the meeting and for a period of 10 days after the meeting.  Written statements may be submitted in person or by mail to the TxDOT Brownwood District Office, 2495 Highway 183 North, Brownwood, Texas 76802, attention Jason Scantling or emailed to jason.scantling@txdot.gov.
