Area law enforcement and first responders were called to a one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday night on FM 3254 near the Ron Jackson Juvenile Detention Center.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:40 p.m.  Officers reported that the 2002 Chevy pickup had left the roadway, rolled over, landing on its side in a grassy area south of the campus of the Ron Jackson Juvenile Detention Center.

Witnesses on scene told police that two Hispanic males were seen leaving the vehicle on foot after the crash.  Officers searched the area looking for the men, but were unable to locate them at the scene, according to police.

No information about the cause of the accident was available Thursday night; however, Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.

Texas DPS, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Early Police and Brownwood Fire Department responded to the scene.
