Monday, June 2

*3:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 1500 Terrace Drive regarding a follow-up on a possible assault.  According to the report, although the incident is listed as an active case, the matter after further investigation is being looked at as a possible false report.

Tuesday, June 3

*12:00 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Cordell regarding found property.  According to the report, the caller stated that she had found clothing and discovered several pieces of identification, along with several debit and credit cards issued to different people.

*12:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft committed by an employee.  According to the report, a loss prevention employee reported that a former employee had stolen $170 cash from the store.  The suspect was named and Wal-Mart wished to pursue charges.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Highway 183 South regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant believed that his new neighbor had stolen batteries off of a vehicle and a tractor which were on the complainant’s property.

*4:42 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding sexual misconduct.  According to the report, a suspect has been identified.

*11:27 PM – Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant via telephone regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant advised that two known suspects had threatened to kill her son earlier this date.

*11:56 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, officers were notified by off duty Bangs Police Chief Troy Grusendorf of a male subject having a criminal trespass warning for the store.  The male subject, identified as 17-year-old Elijah Ray Jones of Brownwood, was located and placed under arrest for criminal trespass.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft from a representative of West Texas Balfour.  According to the report, a named suspect ordered graduation items valued at $97.43.  The suspect reportedly presented a credit card number as payment for the items ordered; however the credit card information was reportedly not valid and Balfour has made several attempts to obtain payment with no success.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Michael Keith Hickerson on warrants/surety withdrawals related to theft against elderly individual and theft over $1500 less than $20,000.  Hickerson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $45,000.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old David Valencia of San Saba for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
