navejarArmando Navejar, Jr., age 55, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at San Angelo Community Hospital.

Services for Armando will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Ismael Cisneros and James Cisneros officiating, interment will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.

Armando was born on July 9, 1958 to Armando Sr. Navejar and Anita Santa Peña in Crystal City, Texas in Zavala County.

Armando was a loving father and grandfather; he enjoyed seeing his family and having fun being a comedian. He had a carefree spirit. He loved spending time with his companion, Nena Rosales. Win or lose he loved his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He has gone to rest with our Heavenly Father; this is not a goodbye but a see you later.

Armando is survived by his companion, Nena Rosales of Coleman; son, Armando J. Arriaga and wife Rosemary of Brownwood; daughters, Sesilia Navejar Sanchez and husband Luis of Brownwood, Lorena Navejar, Caroline Navejar, Krystal Navejar, and Cynthia Navejar all of Brownwood; grandchildren, Chantalle Arriaga, Miguel Angel Arriaga, and Aiden Luis Sanchez; sisters, Elva Navejar, Norma Navejar, Marta Gonzales, Elena Navejar, Edna Zapot, and Linda Navejar all of Wisconsin; brothers, Ramiro Navejar of Lancaster, TX, Jesus Navejar, Jose Navejar, and Roberto Navejar all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armando Sr. Navejar and Anita Santa Peña; uncle, Ramiro Navejar; and granddaughter, Sesilia Gabriella Sanchez.
