Carl Wayne Andrews

Carl Wayne Andrews, age 56 of Brownwood passed into his heavenly body after a lengthy battle with Huntington’s disease on November 13, 2023, at a local nursing facility.

Funeral services for Carl will be held at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel of Brownwood on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Interment will be private at a later date.

Carl was born on March 26, 1967, to Carl and Elizabeth Andrews in Brownwood, Texas. He was a laborer and had worked in factories in Brownwood and Stephenville until he could no longer work. He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time.

Carl is survived by his father, Eugene Andrews of Brownwood; 2 brothers, Clayton and wife Debbie Andrews of Blanket and Mark Andrews and wife Kim Cantrell of Brownwood; 2 sons, Robert and wife Amanda Andrews of Oklahoma and Travis Andrews of Oklahoma; 2 stepchildren, Tash Kohls Prater and husband Steven of Granbury and Eric Kohls and wife Kristal of Minnetonka, Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Andrews; grandparents, Carl Looney and Lucille Andrews and Robert and Annie Wells all of Brownwood. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s Foundation.
